Comments: I just got a Caliber 45 Colt cutomatic from a friend. Problem is, I don't know how to use it.
Admin reply: This should be all you need, apart from some serious practice on your local NRA-sponsored pistol range. http://www.kmike.com/45/M1911A1_Manual.htm

Comments: I have used this website for several years, always in the past for a particular name, but the last 2 years I have been compileing a list of KIA's now including Casualties, your site was my main source and with Korean War Project in Dallas Texas along with American Battle Fields I have been able to compile a "Book" much too large to print but I offer it "FREE" for Download or on a CD, as a Download is just too large of a file for the average Computer internet source, so I have broken it up into State files of which can be downloaded individual State or Territory. I then using the American Battlefield create a one page Memorial for a relative, classmate of just a friend of one on the list, and I email them the "Memorial" FREE. I have created several hundred starting with my Classmates of which covered the years 1947 t0 1954 as 411 served and 8 were killed. So that is what I d and why.

That is a very nice thing to do. Would you like me to link your Guest Book entry to an appropriate location in my Casualty pages? If so, can you suggest specifically where you'd like the links placed?
Happy Armed Forces' Day

Comments: Hi Bert, I'm not even sure how I arrived at your web site, but I did find your experiences very amusing. You do have a talent for writing... taking a subject few people, such as myself, know little about and make it interesting.I did spend some time in Korea from mid 1951 to January 1953 on several VHF Radio Relay sites. Uncle Sam said I was a field radio repairman but I was mostly a "tube duster.".... Regards, Harry
